GTA 6 Online

The multiplayer side of GTA 6 — what's expected and what's confirmed.

An online mode has not been fully detailed by Rockstar. Everything below is expected based on GTA Online's history and is clearly labeled.

What to expect

Timing: an online component is expected after the single-player launch, not on day one.
Shared world: likely set in the same Leonida map as the main game.
Ongoing updates: GTA Online ran for years; a similar live-service approach is expected.
